Meet Julian Tittershill
A writer, family man, community member, and alcohol-free warrior

Julian Tittershill

Julian Tittershill is at the beginning of his literary journey but has a lifetime of experience to share. Once a rugby club captain immersed in drinking culture, Julian found himself trapped in a 37-year relationship with alcohol.

In 2021, he broke free — embarking on a transformation that reshaped his health, family, and outlook. His story has been featured in The Telegraph Online (Jan 2025) and the international press, and he was a guest on the One Year No Beer Podcast.

It’s never about the booze. It’s about you. And if Julian can do it, anyone can.

Julian now lives in the English countryside with his wife, two teenage daughters, and their two dogs. Beyond writing, he serves as an active voice in the sobriety community, encouraging others to find their best life beyond booze.

If you’ve ever questioned your drinking habits—or if you simply enjoy an honest, laugh-out-loud, thought-provoking self-help memoir—Booze will leave you inspired, entertained, and hopeful.
